XS is the youth ministry of Seeds Uniting Church, for youth in school Years 7-12, led by a team of over 50 young adults, most of whom came through XS as teenagers.
The heart of XS is captured in our theme verse; John 10:10 'The thief comes to steal kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life and life to the full'. We are passionate about seeing young people discover the life that Jesus offers them! Together we seek to discover more of his kingdom ways, the life he dreams for us to live! Each Friday features a mix of small groups, worship, games, messages, discussions, cafe and much more. No two Fridays are the same, so expect the unexpected!
XS runs from 6:30pm until 9:30pm on Friday nights during the school term at our Aberfoyle Park campus.
One of the strongest elements of XS Youth are our small groups, separated by grade and gender. These groups are led by at least two of our young adult leaders on a weekly basis. Each group is different, but most groups generally incorporate a fun element, and a bible study element relevant to that evening's message. If you're new, come along at 6:30pm and someone will direct you to the group of your gender & grade, or get in contact with us with the details below!

EASTER CAMPFrom Friday to Monday of Easter, XS runs a camp at Cornerstone College in Mount Barker. This is an incredible time for building community and deepening relationships with God. Easter Camp embodies the heart of XS and its mission for a faith filled community.
Across the weekend we run a series of engaging sessions with a special guest speaker and small groups. We also have a variety of fun events such as tribal/messy games, electives, an incredible party night. Free time is a key part of each day which is an opportunity for youth to hang and engage in small activities and games. This camp is a really great way to have a really fun easter, build some amazing relationships and grow in faith. |
