A NOTE FROM OUR SENIOR PASTOR
Welcome to this online part of Seeds! I am glad you have joined us. My name is Jonathan, and I’m the Senior Pastor at Seeds.
Seeds is a thriving multi-campus church community, where we regularly gather to learn together, to serve together and to worship our God together. We are passionate about seeing people become disciples of God. Seeds is a home for all. We have a thriving Sunday community for all ages where we gather in worship together, and where we love and serve Jesus together. We have an exciting kids program full of joy, laughter and learning about Jesus. We have a youth ministry where hundreds of young people gather each week to learn, study the word, worship together and have so much fun! Out of that comes our Young Adults ministry, made up of many young adults who engage, study together, connect and learn about Jesus, while also learning how to live life. Our Seniors are just as active too, gathering regularly as faithful disciples. I would love for you to connect with us. If you come to one of our regular Sunday services at one of our campuses, Aberfoyle Park or Kurralta Park, you will be greeted warmly, given a free coffee and certainly not pressured. Whilst of course we would love to see you in person, our services are live-streamed and uploaded to Youtube so you can join us online, if you prefer. You can also find us on socials, give us a call, send us an email, or even drop in and say hello, we’d love to meet you! Rev Dr Jonathan Davies (Senior Pastor) |

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
Seeds Uniting Church holds to an orthodox understanding of faith. We believe the bible is the true and accurate word of God, we believe that Jesus who came as a human, died for our sins and on the third day rose again. We believe that through his life, death and resurrection we can have new life. We believe that the Holy Spirit speaks and guides us today.
We believe that God calls all to have a personal relationship with him and that we are equipped to serve the world. We understand that the church and all the members of the church have a God given role to play in the community. We believe that worship is important and that God speaks to us through our worship experiences. We value real relationships with each other and while this is hard in a larger gathering we place a strong emphasis on small groups. As a church we believe that we are to invite and welcome people into our church community. That we are to connect those who come and nurture all in faith. We believe that we are to equip and disciple our members and then for them to be sent and to serve the wider world. |

OUR MISSION
Our mission "bringing people to Jesus and being transformed into his passionate disciples"
We do this through our core behaviours:
We do this through our core behaviours:
INVITE & WELCOMETherefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you for the glory of God - Romans 15:17
We will partner with God in growing in His church though intentional evangelism and generous hospitality creating an environment where everyone is welcome and experiences a sense of belonging. Just as Jesus showed his love for us, we will strive to love each other and the world. |
CONNECT & NURTUREThis is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. - John 15:12
We will create authentic community in which people experience vital, life-transforming connections with God and each other across generations. |
EQUIP & DISCIPLETo equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. - Ephesians 4:12
We will encourage abundant grace-filled generosity that ensures our church is effectively resourced and supports people to become passionate disciples of Jesus. |
SEND OUT & SERVETherefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. -Matthew 28:19
We will be God's witness in the world as we radically live out our christian faith, both locally and in the wider world, humbly and lovingly serving wherever God calls. |
