Seeds Skatepark Outreach

Our aim is to give to the community and share the love of Jesus.
Ping Pong-A-Thon is a fundraising & advocacy movement, combating human trafficking and exploitation of young people in South East Asia through a series of table tennis events held every year.
Schools, universities, churches, workplaces, sporting clubs and pubs across Australia and the USA, host table tennis events between 3 hours and 24 hours in length. Participants sign up to play at their venue of choice and invite family/friends to sponsor their efforts. Funds raised support the work of several organisations combating the slavery of some of the most vulnerable young people in our world.
Here at Seeds Church, our youth and young adults have participated in this event over the last few years and in total have raised over $30,000.

With a strong focus on the empowerment of women and girls, Dorcas Creation is an indigenous non-profit organization in Kenya, started in 2006 under the leadership of Jane Thuo. THE SEEDS FOUNDATION
Funding for local missions projects.
ABOUT THE SEEDS FOUNDATION
Members and leaders from within the Seeds Church identified the need for a vehicle to financially support local mission. Several significant funding gifts have been the catalyst to start the “Seeds Foundation”. The Seeds Foundation aim is to financially support projects that contribute to the community and share the concern and love that God has for all people.
Funding is available for a wide range of projects that will significantly increase the mission effectiveness of Seeds Uniting Church. The Seeds Foundation team requires that applications, as a condition of eligibility for funding, will demonstrate full commitment to and engagement with the Mission and Core Behaviours of Seeds Uniting Church.
It’s only through the generous donations and bequests of individuals that new projects are seeded and many ongoing projects will continue to be funded. You can make a single, monthly or annual pledge using different methods, including credit card or direct debit. No matter how big or small the donation, it all helps to ensure that our Church increases the mission effectiveness in our local community.
