Our history
In 1977 the Blackwood Parish decided to explore establishing a congregation at Flagstaff Hill. As a result of this the first service was held in the Flagstaff Hill Kindergarten on Sunday 1st May 1977. On 24th October 1982, additional services began in the new Aberfoyle Park Primary Schools Campus. During 1990 the Uniting Church bought the Aberfoyle Campus site which expanded further to a second campus at Seaford in 2005.
Seeds Uniting Church has been blessed with by fine legacy of Ministers and Senior Pastors: Richard Miller, Arthur Jackson, Neale Michael, Graham Humphris, Craig Bailey and Phil Pynor. Jonathan Davies is the current Senior Pastor. As one of the largest UCA congregations in Australia, it continues to passionately pursue opportunities to share the good news of Jesus Christ in the communities it serves.
In 2010-11 Aberfoyle Uniting Church embarked on a twelve month journey of discernment which culminated in a new vision and change of name to Seeds Uniting Church.
In August 2013 The Seaford congregation changed their name to Seeds South and moved locations from Seaford to Noarlunga Downs Primary School. Then in August 2015 the congregation took on their own new identity and direction as "Connexions Uniting Church".
