WHO ARE THE KEENAGERS?
Back in July, 2006, a small group of 'seniors' met together in a home in Aberfoyle Park to enjoy an afternoon singing hymns, with the idea that it might become a monthly event, open to anyone who would like to join in!
Within 2 months, it's growth necessitated a move to the Church building...and from that humble beginning, 'Keenagers' grew into a ministry which is 'Touching Lives in our Community', showing all people across the generations that everyone is "loved, valued, and cared for".
We now come together on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month to sing familiar hymns and hear from inspiring speakers.
In addition to our monthly informal 'singalong' sessions, Keenagers enjoy a range of popular events and activities, including Day Trips, Extended Coach Tours, Movie Mornings, Luncheons, Concerts, 'Australia Day' Celebrations, Theatre Outings, etc.
This program is open to ALL 'seniors' (that's anyone over 55, 'give or take') and you are most welcome to join us in a happy environment with 'old and new' friends!
Keenagers meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday
